I recently got into a single car accident on company property?

I was in my work parking lot and was on my way out of the parking lot when i lost control of my car and hit a pole. I was going about 30mph which i know for a parking lot is kinda fast. I wasnt on the clock and my company ended up firing me over it. I was wondering if anyone thought i could do anything from this. Hire a lawyer or anything to fight for possibly a settlement or something. im not really sure how this stuff works. My insurance paid for the damage to the pole, and my car which was totaled.
