True love but poor.. or rich and with someone that makes you miserable?

My true love I met when I was 15. He was 21, alot was going on at that time and we couldn't be together. I was his true love too. But 4 yrs after the break up I had a broken condom and got pregnant by someone else. I gave up the idea thinking he would never want me and that it was ruined. I married my sons dad and after 11years of abuse left him. For the past 7 months we've been kind of talking online and he is unhappily married to a control freak ex stripper, who cheats on him repeatedly with his friends and others, has done this the entire marriage. She is rich from the divorce settlement from her 3rd husband previous to her 4th marriage to the man I love. If he leaves her he would be poor to be with me. So my question is would you rather be poor and be with the person you love or would you rather be rich and miserable with the person you are with?
